SHARJAH: Al Marwan Developments has officially launched District 11, the UAE’s first smart work resort designed using artificial intelligence, setting a new milestone for innovation in real estate and sustainable business environments. The launch marks a significant step towards future-ready infrastructure and economic growth in the Emirate of Sharjah.
Located strategically on Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road (E311), the 3.5 million sq ft development spans 11 buildings and includes a world-class hotel with 368 units and nearly 3,000 parking spaces. With the highest number of electric vehicle (EV) charging stations in the UAE, the AI-designed District 11 is tailored to meet the growing demand for sustainable and tech-integrated office spaces.
Executive Director Majd Al Zaiem highlighted that District 11 offers a business environment with intelligent infrastructure and predictive maintenance systems powered by AI. The project merges dynamic pricing, energy efficiency, and proactive facilities management to maximise asset performance and client satisfaction. He added that the development is built to support the UAE’s economic diversification goals while offering cost-effective, future-proof office solutions.
The launch event was attended by senior officials, investors, entrepreneurs, and social media influencers, reflecting Sharjah’s strong and welcoming business climate. With a focus on supporting both startups and established enterprises, District 11 positions itself as a hub for innovation, smart design, and sustainability, helping Sharjah stand out on regional and global investment maps.
