Pakistan presents food packaging, processing, and ingredient innovations at Gulfood Manufacturing 2025 to expand exports and connect with global markets.
DUBAI: Pakistan is putting its food technology capabilities on display at Gulfood Manufacturing 2025, with eleven exhibitors participating at the Dubai World Trade Centre. The event, which is one of the region’s largest trade shows for food and beverage production, provides a strategic platform for Pakistani companies to showcase innovation and expand their global footprint.
According to the Associated Press of Pakistan (APP), the country’s participation includes seven companies from the food packaging and processing sector, and four from the food ingredients industry. Their exhibits feature a wide array of technologies, from advanced processing and labelling systems to sustainable packaging, supply chain innovations, and high-performance food ingredients tailored for international markets.
The Pakistan Pavilion was officially inaugurated on Tuesday by Hussain Muhammad, Consul General of Pakistan in Dubai, who emphasised the value of the event in positioning Pakistani firms for global success. “Gulfood Manufacturing serves as a premier platform for promoting innovation, sustainability, and technological advancement in the food and beverage manufacturing sector,” he said.
Muhammad added that Dubai’s role as a global trade and logistics hub creates ideal conditions for Pakistani businesses to explore new export opportunities, meet buyers from across the world, and drive industry growth through networking and knowledge exchange.
The three-day event has attracted hundreds of regional and global exhibitors, with Pakistan’s presence reflecting its growing investment in value-added food technologies and its ambition to scale in the Middle East, Asia, and Africa through product innovation and trade partnerships.
