Focus keyphrase Ferrari electric supercar: Ferrari unveils its first all-electric Elettrica model, promising record-breaking power, performance and design in 2026.

MARANELLO: Ferrari has finally lifted the veil on its much-anticipated electric supercar, showcasing the cutting-edge Elettrica during its Capital Markets Day 2025. The all-new model represents a seismic shift for the Prancing Horse — its first full-electric vehicle, a product of over a decade of electrification research. With a radical blend of F1-inspired tech, a 0.5 mm rotor gap, 80 mm lower centre of gravity, and carbon-wrapped magnets spinning at 30,000 rpm, this isn’t just a Ferrari — it’s the future, electric-style.

Dubbed the Elettrica, the Ferrari electric supercar features dual axles powered by four electric motors, producing over 8000 Nm of torque and delivering lightning-fast launches with whisper-smooth traction. Its unique 15-module battery design integrates directly into the chassis, offering a class-leading 195 Wh/kg energy density and 1.3 kW/kg power density. Ferrari built every component in-house, including the motors, rotors, inverters, battery, and even the advanced cooling system — achieving over 60 patents in the process.

In a move sure to delight traditionalists, Ferrari didn’t ignore sound. Engineers developed an “electric roar” using mechanical vibration sensors to create a feedback loop that delivers a visceral soundtrack in line with Ferrari’s legendary DNA — all without a drop of fuel. Three drive modes — Range, Tour, and Performance — plus five torque delivery levels make this supercar as intelligent as it is thrilling.

CEO Benedetto Vigna declared that Ferrari “waited until the tech caught up to the badge” before committing to this model. That tech includes an 800V architecture, ultra-fast disconnect systems, hollow die-cast subframes, and magnet arrays arranged in Halbach configuration — all wrapped in a lightweight, recycled-aluminium chassis. Even the active suspension has been re-engineered for electric use.

Ferrari plans to reveal the Elettrica’s final design and interior in early 2026, followed by a global premiere. With this Ferrari electric supercar, the marque enters a new era — delivering silent speed, seamless luxury, and signature soul to the roads of tomorrow.
