The Brew News: Inception has recently announced several collaborations with global and regional partners. How do these partnerships strengthen the UAE’s position as a global AI hub, support the National AI Strategy 2031, and ensure alignment with the country’s broader vision for sustainable digital transformation?

Maria Sanchez: Aligning with like-minded partners is a key aspect when it comes to developing and deploying AI products. It enables us to scale AI quickly, responsibly and effectively while ensuring that innovation remains aligned with real-world priorities. By working with governments, academia, industry leaders, and enterprises, we design AI solutions that address specific market needs and contribute to broader national and economic goals.

Our partnership focus is on advancing digital independence, nurturing AI-ready workforces, and developing technologies that deliver measurable societal and economic impact. Our strategic alliances with global leaders enable us to accelerate innovation across a variety of use cases. Together with the Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence and Cerebras, we are leading foundational research on large language models, including JAIS, NANDA, and SHERKALA, as well as benchmark tools like the AraGen Leaderboard. These initiatives help strengthen the UAE’s position as a center of AI excellence and support the development of local talent and capabilities.

Ultimately, our partnerships embody Inception’s vision of AI as a force multiplier for national progress. By combining global expertise with UAE-grown innovation, we are helping the country lead by example in building AI-native societies where technology advances human potential and delivers lasting, inclusive growth. Each partnership extends the reach of authentic intelligence, helping organizations unlock value in ways that are ethical, transparent, and locally meaningful.

The Brew News: As AI continues to evolve from generative to agentic systems, what shifts do you foresee in enterprise adoption, and how is Inception preparing organizations to thrive in this next phase?

Maria Sanchez: The shift from GenAI to agentic AI marks a defining moment for enterprise transformation. Generative systems create outputs based on prompts, while agentic systems go several steps further. They interpret intent, maintain memory across interactions, adapt to changing inputs, and collaborate with humans and other agents to achieve outcomes. In essence, they do not wait to be instructed, they actually sense, decide, and act. This evolution transforms AI from a reactive assistant into a proactive strategic enabler that can continuously drive performance, efficiency, and innovation.

At Inception, we have a range of products that deploy Agentic AI across different business functions within an organization. (In)Procurement does more than automate contract workflows. It identifies high-performing, sustainable suppliers, accelerates sourcing-to-award cycles, ensures compliance, and drives measurable savings. Our (In)Business Productivity and (In)Business Process products empower teams to deploy no-code AI agents that coordinate workflows, surface knowledge, and make intelligent decisions often faster, more accurately, and at greater scale than human-led systems.

We have also invested in building orchestration layers that manage the behavior and coordination of multiple agents within an organization, ensuring that every agent contributes to the same strategic objectives. Equally important is the human-in-the-loop element. Our products are designed with built-in guardrails that allow enterprises to define ethical and compliance parameters, ensuring that AI-driven decisions remain transparent, auditable, and aligned with organizational values.

Agentic AI will redefine how enterprises operate, moving them from process optimization to continuous, adaptive intelligence. Through our portfolio of enterprise-ready products, we are helping governments and enterprises transition confidently into this next era where authentic intelligence becomes not just a capability, but the core of how business is done.

The Brew News: What are Inception’s plans and goals for the coming years?

Maria Sanchez: Inception’s focus over the next few years is to continue advancing authentic intelligence as a force for national and global progress. Our strategy builds on three pillars: expanding our portfolio of AI-native products, deepening our research in AI, and strengthening partnerships that accelerate responsible adoption across both public and private sectors.

We are scaling our product ecosystem to cover more enterprise applications. Each new product will be built on our heritage of research and development while responding to real market needs, enabling governments and enterprises to transform decision-making, optimize operations, and unlock new sources of value.

Ultimately, our goal is to establish Inception as the global benchmark for authentic intelligence, a company that not only builds advanced technology but ensures that AI is trusted, transparent, and transformative for every community it serves.
