JAECOO J5 impresses UAE car buyers with tech-rich SUV debut at Dubai showroom launch event
DUBAI: JAECOO made a strong entrance into the UAE automotive market on 14 August 2025, unveiling its much-anticipated JAECOO J5 SUV at a stylish launch event hosted at its flagship showroom in Dubai. This marked the UAE leg of the brand’s strategic Middle East rollout, following a successful debut in Riyadh.
Under the brand’s adventurous theme, “GO DISCOVER,” the JAECOO J5 showcased a unique combination of light off-road ability, advanced urban styling, and intelligent mobility — all designed for the modern UAE driver. The launch event brought together media, industry partners and SUV enthusiasts who experienced the region-specific edition of the J5 through immersive displays and interactive zones.
Key features of the JAECOO J5 include a 540° panoramic camera, ARDIS smart driving modes, independent suspension, and lifestyle upgrades such as Karaoke Mode and rooftop camping setup. Guests were also treated to an AI performance by AiMOGA, OMODA & JAECOO’s humanoid robot, underlining the brand’s futuristic integration of AI in mobility.
To sweeten the deal for early buyers, JAECOO UAE announced exclusive retail offers: prices starting at AED64,900, with perks such as free registration, insurance, service, window tinting, extended 10-year/1 million km engine warranty, and a 0% interest plan for three years.
The Dubai showcase follows the 9 August “JAECOO DAY” event in Riyadh, which featured regional ambassador Bader Alshuaibi and a preview of upcoming models like the JAECOO J8 and the innovative Super Hybrid System (SHS).
Looking ahead, UAE drivers can expect the JAECOO J7 SHS to arrive soon — a hybrid SUV that delivers electric-like fuel efficiency with no charging needed.
