Marking 35 years, the Sun Siyam brand evolution unifies six resorts, unveils Signature Experiences, and launches Siyam Rewards across the portfolio.

MALÉ: Celebrating 35 years of Maldivian hospitality, Sun Siyam has unveiled a milestone transformation anchored in the brand statement The Home of the Maldivian Spirit. The Sun Siyam brand evolution brings a single identity across the group’s six properties under The House of Siyam and introduces three clear collections—Luxury, Privé, and Lifestyle—to simplify choices for guests and partners.

Leading the Luxury Collection, Sun Siyam Iru Fushi sets the tone for elevated island indulgence. The Lifestyle Collection—Sun Siyam Olhuveli and Siyam World—promises high-energy escapes with entertainment, recreation and variety for families, friends and couples. In the Privé Collection, Sun Siyam Iru Veli, Sun Siyam Vilu Reef and Sun Siyam Pasikudah (Sri Lanka) curate intimate, barefoot hideaways centred on privacy and bespoke comforts.

Signature Experiences now weave Maldivian heritage into every stay: Maldivian Roots (weekly culinary and cultural journeys), the Maldives’ first overwater photo studio Insta Villa, and the vibrant Sun Siyam Beach Club, where slow afternoons evolve into sunset music and dance. Thoughtful touches—from the ceremonial Wow Welcome and Hidden Treasure Chests to Plant Based Bliss dining and Moonlit Cinemas—add moments of surprise and delight.

Strengthening direct relationships, Siyam Rewards debuts with personalised itineraries, upgrade privileges and optional carbon offsets from the first booking. Every stay continues to support marine conservation and community initiatives via Sun Siyam Care.

Founder Hon. Ahmed Siyam Mohamed said the rebrand keeps the company’s soul alive while innovating for the next generation of travellers. CEO Deepak Booneady added that it is “about cultural authenticity, purpose-driven hospitality, and creating moments that spark joy,” backed by one of the region’s most generous premium all-inclusive plans and the new Signature Experiences. With website and touchpoints refreshed at sunsiyam.com, the rollout was led by JHAGGER&CO (brand), StudioSixty7’s Lee McNichol and Jose Rivero (interiors), hospitality pioneer Dominik Ruhl (operations and experiences), and VP of Operations Abdulla Thamheed. With the Sun Siyam brand evolution complete, The House of Siyam presents a confident, contemporary expression of Maldivian spirit.
