Dubai: The 21st edition of Automechanika Dubai, the largest automotive aftermarket trade exhibition in the Middle East, was officially inaugurated by H.E. Mattar Al Tayer, Commissioner General for Infrastructure and Director General of Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority. The event runs from 10–12 December at Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC).
This year’s showcase, the largest to date, features a record 2,228 exhibitors—a 15% increase from 2023—and spans 83,000 square metres across 17 halls, reflecting an 18% expansion in exhibition space. With participation from 62 countries and 21 international pavilions, Automechanika Dubai continues to bridge key markets across the Middle East, Africa, Asia, and CIS countries.
Key highlights include the debut of UAE exhibitors such as Autohub Conexus and Polarix, alongside returning stalwarts like AMAP and Central Motors. Saudi Arabia’s strong presence includes Middle East Battery Company and Tadawol Trading.
The Innovation4Mobility feature explored future mobility trends, showcasing alternative fuel vehicles, connectivity, and smart infrastructure. Industry leaders, including Maxwell Stanley from the UAE Department of Energy and Heiko Seitz from PwC, delivered sessions on sustainable mobility and global electrification trends.
Additionally, the Automechanika Academy launched under the theme “Collaboration and Innovation in the Automotive Industry,” with insights from regional and global experts on automotive technology, circular economy, and regulatory compliance.
The debut Lubricants & Base Oils Conference offered in-depth analysis of the lubricants sector, featuring ENOC’s Mohammad El Sadek and Shell’s Haytham Yehia discussing sustainability and regulatory shifts shaping the market.
New features include the PowerTread Workshop, focusing on tyre and battery innovations, and the Future Fleet & Telematics Workshop, exploring advanced telematics. The Southeast Asia Regional Focus highlighted the region’s growing impact on UAE’s automotive aftermarket growth.
