Dubai Business Events secures 249 global bids in H1 2025, attracting 127,000+ delegates and reinforcing Dubai’s top global MICE destination status.

Dubai: Dubai Business Events (DBE), the city’s official convention bureau, has announced a strong performance in the first half of 2025, securing 249 successful global bids to host business events through 2029. These events are projected to attract 127,087 delegates—a 35% year-on-year rise. The achievement highlights DBE’s alignment with the Dubai Economic Agenda, D33, which aims to double the city’s economy by 2033.

DBE’s bid conversion rate rose to 64% from 58% in H1 2024, with notable wins including Sibos 2029, Google flagship conferences (2026, 2028), and the 2026 World Congress on Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. Corporate events like Herbalife and Token2049 will also return, underlining Dubai’s appeal across incentive and corporate segments.

The success stems from DBE’s strategic collaborations with stakeholders, including the Al Safeer Congress Ambassador Programme, which led to 32 wins from 51 bids. DBE’s international outreach included sales missions in Asia, Europe, and North America, and participation in IMEX Frankfurt and other key trade shows.

Dubai’s MICE stature was reaffirmed by its #1 global ranking by ICCA for attendee numbers and Cvent’s recognition as the region’s top meeting destination. The city’s infrastructure, accessibility, and service excellence continue to make it a magnet for international organisers.

With continued engagement at global events like IBTM Barcelona and IMEX Las Vegas, DBE aims to solidify Dubai’s leadership in the global business events arena. The city’s growing appeal ensures it remains a premier destination for knowledge-sharing and innovation-driven meetings.

Dubai business events success showcases its unmatched readiness to host world-class gatherings.
