Part of the wider Dubai Traders initiative, the accelerator supports the Dubai Economic Agenda D33, launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. The initiative seeks to strengthen Dubai’s status as a global hub for entrepreneurship and SME growth. Through partnerships with major private companies, Dubai aims to help SMEs build a strong online presence, digitise supply chains, and access international markets.

The agreement was signed by Hadi Badri, CEO of Dubai Economic Development Corporation (DEDC), and Jasmin Frick, Director of Seller Success at Amazon MENA. It was witnessed by Helal Saeed Almarri, Director General of DET, and Ronaldo Mouchawar, Vice President of Amazon Middle East, North Africa, and Türkiye.

The program focuses on six key areas: global reach, digital upskilling, tailored expertise, enhanced visibility, and marketing support. SMEs will have access to Amazon’s global platform, workshops, and personalised guidance on using Amazon services like Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) and advertising. The program will also provide visibility through Amazon’s “Shop Local” storefront and offer advertising credits.

This partnership aims to support Dubai SMEs in growing their online presence and reaching new customers worldwide, aligning with Dubai’s goal to become a leading global hub for innovation and economic growth.
