Dubai: The IBPC Dubai Annual Conclave 2025 at Taj Exotica brought together over 350 business leaders, diplomats, and dignitaries, celebrating the deepening Indo-UAE partnership. Graced by former President of India, HE Shri Ram Nath Kovind, and Consul General HE Satish Sivan, the evening showcased IBPC Dubai’s growing influence in fostering innovation, economic collaboration, and people-to-people ties.

The event opened with “Miracle on Wheels,” a cultural performance by artists of determination, setting a powerful tone for the night. Dr Sahitya Chaturvedi, IBPC Dubai’s Secretary General, reflected on the council’s evolution, noting the success of 51 programmes in the past year and the inclusive shift towards engaging women, youth, and emerging professionals.

Chairman Siddharth Balachandran emphasised the power of “strong ideas and stronger execution,” affirming IBPC’s commitment to excellence. The evening also honoured the late Dr Ram Buxani, a pioneering figure within the Indian diaspora.

Consul General HE Satish Sivan highlighted a record $100 billion bilateral trade milestone in 2025, spanning technology, education, and healthcare. He praised the UAE’s continued investment in India’s rising economy and evolving startup ecosystem.

Introducing keynote speaker HE Shri Ram Nath Kovind, Vice Chairman Sunil Sinha lauded him as a symbol of dignity and perseverance. President Kovind’s moving address paid tribute to the wisdom of elders like Vasu Shroff, celebrated India’s economic rise, and commended the enduring Indo-UAE friendship, exemplified by initiatives like the BAPS Hindu Temple promoting interfaith harmony.

The evening concluded with a vote of thanks from Skandan Mahalingam, reinforcing the conclave’s message: IBPC is not merely a council, but a movement towards a Viksit Bharat and a brighter, inclusive future.
