IBPC Dubai’s new Youth Conclave aims to nurture young Indian-origin leaders through innovation, entrepreneurship, and strategic mentorship across the UAE and beyond.
DUBAI: In a major step to empower the next generation of Indian-origin changemakers, the Indian Business and Professional Council (IBPC) Dubai has launched its groundbreaking Youth Conclave Initiative, designed to shape future business and policy leaders through innovation and inclusivity.
Unveiled by IBPC Chairman Siddharth Balachandran, the initiative is built on three key pillars: inclusivity, giving young voices a platform; innovation, encouraging responsible disruption; and continuity, passing down institutional wisdom. “This is not just an event—it’s an ecosystem,” he said at the launch.
The conclave reflects the broader India-UAE vision of strategic collaboration, especially as India targets a $30 trillion economy by 2047 and bilateral trade with the UAE already surpasses $100 billion. The programme’s goal is to inspire youth to contribute meaningfully to this shared growth story.
A standout feature was a keynote by Shri Kartikeya Sharma, Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha), who highlighted India’s AI push, ethical tech goals, and rural innovation like “Namo Shakti” for cancer detection. He also introduced the NEXT platform, connecting global leaders to solve urgent challenges such as space debris and data equity.
The event featured rising youth leaders like Varun Tankha (VSA Legal), Gautam Goenka (GE Healthcare) and Anisha Ramakrishnan (Wami Capital), alongside IBPC’s Next Gen Champions: Neetu Choudhary, Sumer Singh Adhana, and Sahil Buch, who hosted interactive workshops on leadership, business succession, and career growth. These sessions were mentored by Karthik Raman, Convener of IBPC’s Tech & Telecom Committee.
Military veterans like Lt. Gen. Ajay Singh and Air Commodore Rashid Zafar Qureshi brought a message of national pride and resilience, linking tradition with the ambitions of a modern generation.
Closing the event, IBPC Vice Chairman Sunil Sinha stressed the long-term vision. “This Youth Conclave is a launchpad for lasting change,” he noted, reaffirming IBPC’s investment in intergenerational leadership.
With bold ideas, top-tier talent, and strategic partnerships at its core, the Youth Conclave aims to be a global model of ethical entrepreneurship and future-ready leadership.
