K-Food Fair 2025 in Dubai highlights halal Korean food innovations, connecting Korean exporters with UAE’s growing halal F&B market.

Dubai: The K-Food Fair 2025 made a vibrant return to Dubai, captivating food enthusiasts and industry leaders with a diverse showcase of halal Korean food at the Safina Ballroom, Jumeirah Beach Hotel. Organised by the Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation (aT) and Korea’s Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, the two-day culinary event celebrated the rising synergy between Korean flavours and the Gulf’s halal-conscious dining culture.

At the heart of the fair was a curated display of halal-certified products — from kimchi, ginseng drinks, and vegan kimbap to soy-based sauces, seaweed snacks, and premium Hanwoo beef prepared to meet halal standards. With halal awareness at an all-time high in the UAE, Korean exhibitors responded by tailoring offerings to meet religious and dietary expectations while maintaining their authentic taste.

To strengthen this push, a dedicated Halal Certification Seminar was held, led by halal trade expert Mr. Tomas Guerrero. The session provided practical guidance on halal regulatory frameworks and certification pathways, helping Korean exporters navigate the UAE’s rigorous food compliance system. Cultural experts and professors also hosted insightful lectures on food etiquette and Middle Eastern culinary integration, equipping Korean brands with crucial knowledge for market adaptation.

With over 500 industry attendees, the fair successfully connected Korean exporters with UAE-based distributors, importers, and culinary influencers. The event generated several sample requests and partnership inquiries, affirming the UAE’s appetite for trusted, innovative halal Korean food.

“This fair is a strategic platform for showcasing Korean innovation through a halal lens,” said Yongpil Jeon, Director of aT Center Dubai. “We’re thrilled to see halal-certified K-food being embraced by the UAE’s diverse and quality-driven market.”

As halal dining becomes a global norm, Korea’s evolving food industry is well-positioned to meet demand — combining authenticity, convenience, and certification. The K-Food Fair 2025 reaffirmed this potential, bridging two culinary cultures through shared values of quality, health, and respect for dietary standards.
