The Abu Dhabi International Compak Sporting Grand Prix, backed by H.H. Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed, will take place in Al Ain from 1st to 4th December 2025. The Abu Dhabi Compak Sporting event will host top global shooters and celebrate UAE’s sports leadership.
AL AIN: Under the esteemed patronage of H.H. Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler’s Representative in Al Ain Region, the Abu Dhabi International Compak Sporting Grand Prix will be held from 1st to 4th December 2025 at the Al Ain Equestrian, Shooting and Golf Club. This global shooting competition is a key highlight on the calendar of the Fédération Internationale de Tir aux Armes Sportives de Chasse (FITASC), and will welcome elite marksmen from across the world to the UAE.
Organised by the Weapons and Hazardous Substances Office of the Supreme Council for National Security in collaboration with the UAE Shooting Federation and FITASC, the Abu Dhabi Compak Sporting championship will feature significant prize money and serve as a platform to promote international sportsmanship, safety, and cultural heritage.
During the official partnership signing between the Weapons Office and FITASC, key dignitaries including Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Hasher Al Maktoum, President of the UAE Shooting Federation; Mohammed Suhail Al Neyadi, Director-General of the Weapons and Hazardous Substances Office; and Jean François Palinkas, President of FITASC, were in attendance. The partnership aims to deliver a world-class championship that aligns with global standards.
Officials praised the championship’s role in supporting the growth of shooting sports in the UAE while preserving the country’s traditional association with hunting and defence. The event is also expected to unearth new Emirati talent and further elevate the UAE’s reputation as a premier destination for international sporting events.
Hosting the Abu Dhabi Compak Sporting Grand Prix in Al Ain also boosts the city’s profile as a hub for sports and tourism, aligning with national goals to diversify the UAE’s sporting and cultural identity.
