The prize money for the men’s T20 World Cup 2024 is higher due to the larger number of participating teams and matches compared to the women’s event. The men’s tournament features 10 more teams and 32 additional matches. This move represents a significant step forward for women’s cricket, reflecting the ICC’s commitment to ensuring gender parity in the sport’s financial rewards.
