ABU DHABI: The FIM World Supercross Championship (WSX) is coming back to Abu Dhabi for the second year in a row. The exciting event will take place on Wednesday, 4th December 2024, at the Etihad Arena. It promises to deliver thrilling off-road motorcycle racing under the night sky, showcasing some of the best riders on two wheels.

The 2024 WSX season starts at BC Place in Vancouver, Canada, on 26th October for Round 1. The action continues in Perth, Australia, with a double-header event at HBF Park on 23rd and 24th November. Abu Dhabi will host Round 4, the grand finale, on 4th December at Etihad Arena. This will be a part of an action-packed week of motorsport on Yas Island, where the champions for the 2024 season will be crowned.

Following the exciting 2023 event, which wowed fans with incredible skills and thrills, the 2024 season finale is expected to be even more spectacular. With 32 riders competing for two championship titles, the unique track inside the Etihad Arena will ensure a high-energy show.

Saif Rashid Al Noaimi, CEO of Ethara, the organisers of the Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, said, “We are excited to host the WSX Championship’s season finale at Yas Island’s Etihad Arena. He also mentioned that this year’s Race Week will feature two World Championship finals, with Yas Marina Circuit hosting the Formula 1 season finale shortly after. Fans can also enjoy the Yasalam After-Race Concerts and the Gulf 12 Hours endurance race.
