UAE Warriors 64 returns on October 22 in Abu Dhabi with three thrilling MMA title fights as part of Showdown Week celebrations.
ABU DHABI: Fight fans are in for a triple treat as UAE Warriors 64 gears up for an action-packed night featuring three championship bouts at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC) on 22nd October. The event is a headline feature of the city’s much-anticipated Abu Dhabi Showdown Week, cementing the emirate’s status as a premier global hub for mixed martial arts.
Organised by Palms Sports, the international edition of the UAE Warriors championship will see six elite fighters from around the world battle for titles across three weight classes. In the main event, Russia’s Amru Magomedov will clash with Armenia’s Martun Mezhlumyan for the lightweight crown. The flyweight title will be contested between Somalia’s Muhidin Abubakar and Brazil’s Iago Ribeiro, while Azerbaijan’s Asaf Chopurov faces Angola’s Demarte Pena for the bantamweight belt.
Fouad Darwish, CEO of Palms Sports and President of UAE Warriors MMA, called the 64th edition “one of the strongest in the championship’s history” due to the rare occurrence of three titles being on the line in a single evening.
