DUBAI: Under the guidance of H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Dubai Media Council has announced the opening of registration for the second edition of the ‘Mohammed Bin Rashid Scholarship for Emirati Media Students’.

This scholarship is designed to support young Emirati media talent and help them make a significant impact in the media sector. It’s a reflection of our leadership’s dedication to nurturing national talent and increasing their presence in important fields.

The scholarship provides full tuition coverage for students to enroll at the Mohammed Bin Rashid School for Communication at the American University in Dubai. This opportunity allows aspiring media professionals to pursue rewarding careers after they graduate.

Mona Al Marri, Vice Chairperson and Managing Director of the Dubai Media Council, shared that the vision of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and the directives of H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum have been key in helping the Council achieve its goal of developing a new generation of skilled Emirati media professionals.

She emphasized that the Dubai Media Council is committed to growing the number of talented national media professionals to help develop the sector and support economic growth. Innovation and academic excellence are essential for enabling young media talent to lead the sector forward.

The ‘Mohammed Bin Rashid Scholarship for Emirati Media Students’ aims to discover and nurture young media talent in the UAE, boosting the industry’s creativity, innovation, and growth.
