Mumbai: Minoo Jokhi, a renowned mathemagician from Mumbai, recently visited Bangalore from November 28th to December 6th, 2023, where he performed eight Mathemagic Shows for various schools and organizations. During these shows, Jokhi shared math tricks like tables, squares, and cubes, along with memory enhancement techniques, which greatly benefited the students in their studies. Despite struggling with math until the age of 15, Jokhi’s journey from being a poor math student to mastering the subject inspired many children, especially those who were weak in math themselves.
Jokhi’s performances were a hit among the children, who were amazed by his ability to outperform calculators in reciting tables of three-digit numbers from 1 to 1000. They eagerly sought autographs and selfies with him, showing their admiration and appreciation.
This marked Jokhi’s third visit to Bangalore, a city he holds dear to his heart. He has performed internationally in countries like Sri Lanka, USA, Canada, Spain, and Indonesia, as well as in various cities across India. However, Bangalore has a special place in his heart.
Jokhi also visited Channapatna, located over 60 kilometers away from Bangalore, where he performed for the Rotary School for the second time, receiving a warm reception. He also spoke before the Rotary Bangalore Spandana Club for the third time, cherishing the memories of the club.
Jokhi’s primary dream is to spread amazing Mathemagic concepts worldwide, aiming to alleviate the fear of math among children and adults alike, and instill a love for mathematics in everyone.
