Dubai: His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, met with people who were on a 12-day camel trek across the UAE desert. They started in Abu Dhabi and ended in Dubai, going through different places. This event is organized every year by the Hamdan Bin Mohammed Heritage Centre, and this was the 10th time.

During the meeting, Sheikh Mohammed heard about how the journey was going from Abdullah Hamdan bin Dalmook, who is in charge of the Heritage Center. There were 37 people in the group, and they came from 16 different countries. They traveled a total of 557 km.

The idea for this event came from Sheikh Mohammed’s vision to encourage tolerance, understanding, and living together peacefully. Bin Dalmook emphasized that the meeting with Sheikh Mohammed shows the commitment to preserving the UAE’s heritage and promoting values like tolerance and understanding.

The camel trekkers were heading to the Heritage Village in Global Village after embarking on a continuous 12-day journey through the UAE desert, starting from the Arada area in Abu Dhabi and concluding in Dubai.

The 10th edition of the annual Camel Trek event was organised by the Hamdan Bin Mohammed Heritage Centre.
