Dubai: The much-anticipated Tahbib Festival 2024 returns this December, following its outstanding success last year. Set to be a cultural extravaganza, this year’s festival unfolds across two venues: Al Safa Art and Design Library, Jumeirah on December 1, and India Club, Oud Metha on December 2, with India Club serving as the official venue partner.
The tahbib festival proudly hosts Javed Akhtar, renowned lyricist and poet, as the guest of honor. Joining him are luminaries from various creative fields, including celebrated filmmaker Sanjay Gupta, British-Pakistani actor Ahsan Khan, classical music maestro Shafqat Ali Khan, Emirati poet Dr. Shihab Ghanem, actor Abdullah Al Jafali, and literary figure Mahmoud Noor, among others.
Tahbib Festival 2024 is a free-to-attend event celebrating the vibrant heritage of languages like Urdu, Punjabi, Arabic, English, and Tagalog. Through enchanting poetry recitals, mesmerizing performances, and art showcases, it embodies the UAE’s ethos of unity in diversity.
