Farhan Akhtar, Sukhwinder Singh, and real-life heroes joined thousands in Lucknow to launch the rousing anthem Dada Kishan Ki Jai from war drama 120 Bahadur.

LUCKNOW: In a grand patriotic spectacle, the first song from the upcoming war drama 120 Bahadur — titled Dada Kishan Ki Jai — was unveiled in Lucknow amidst a sea of fans and national pride. The launch was attended by Farhan Akhtar, Sukhwinder Singh, and real-life heroes of the 1962 Rezang La battle, along with families of martyred soldiers.

The stirring anthem, composed by Salim–Sulaiman with lyrics by Javed Akhtar and vocals by Sukhwinder Singh, echoes the bravery and sacrifice of 120 soldiers from the 13 Kumaon Regiment. The event was further graced by Narpat Singh Bhati, son of Major Shaitan Singh Bhati, PVC, and the two surviving war veterans — Subedar Honorary Captain Ram Chander Yadav Ji and Havildar Nihal Singh Ji, SM — drawing emotional reactions from attendees.

Dada Kishan Ki Jai captures the soul of 120 Bahadur, a film that recounts one of India’s most heroic military stand-offs. Farhan Akhtar leads the cast as Major Shaitan Singh Bhati, a Param Vir Chakra awardee who led his men with indomitable courage in the legendary 1962 battle.

The anthem’s release kicked off the film’s promotional campaign in a powerful way, aligning with its core message: “Hum Peechhe Nahin Hatenge.” The song launch was more than an entertainment event — it was a heartfelt tribute to courage, unity, and sacrifice.

120 Bahadur is directed by Razneesh ‘Razy’ Ghai and produced by Excel Entertainment and Trigger Happy Studios. It hits cinemas nationwide on 21st November 2025.
