Taxi Driver 3 debuts globally in late 2025 as a Viu Original, with Lee Je-hoon and new pan-Asian collaborations.

Viu and SBS have officially confirmed the much-anticipated return of Taxi Driver 3, premiering globally in Q4 2025 (excluding South Korea and mainland China). The third instalment of the high-octane revenge drama will continue as a Viu Original, further cementing the platform’s role in championing internationally resonant Asian content.

Lee Je-hoon reprises his compelling role as Kim Do-gi, the righteous vigilante from the Rainbow Taxi team. The series also brings back key cast members Kim Eui-sung, Pyo Ye-jin, Jang Hyuk-jin, and Bae Yoo-ram. Directed by Kang Bo-seung and written by Oh Sang-ho, this season promises heightened stakes and a wider international canvas. Making his Korean drama debut is Edan Lui from Hong Kong’s hit boy band MIRROR, adding a fresh twist to the storyline.

SBS Media Group’s Studio S CEO Park Jeong-hoon stated: “We are delighted to introduce Taxi Driver 3 through our trusted and long-standing partnership with Viu.” He assured fans that this season aims to uphold the drama’s powerful legacy.

Viu CEO Janice Lee added: “Our 2025 slate reaffirms our commitment to local stories with global reach. With Taxi Driver 3 and My Youth, we are supporting cultural richness while showcasing pan-Asian talent.”

Also featuring Song Joong-ki’s My Youth, Viu’s 2025 lineup includes 12 new Malay productions and top-tier Indonesian content from its MAXStream collaboration, reflecting its continued investment in regional storytelling.
