ZEE5 Global and PRK Productions release teaser of ‘Maarigallu’, a divine folklore thriller fulfilling Puneeth Rajkumar’s vision.
GLOBAL: ZEE5 Global, in collaboration with PRK Productions, has released the teaser for its upcoming Kannada web series Maarigallu, a divine folklore thriller set to premiere on 31 October. The gripping teaser, narrated by Dhananjaya, captivated fans worldwide, especially with a majestic appearance by the late Puneeth Rajkumar as Mayura Sharma, the first king of Karnataka and founder of the Kadamba dynasty.
The Maarigallu teaser ZEE5 campaign serves as a heartfelt tribute to Puneeth’s long-held dream of bringing culturally rooted Kannada stories to the OTT platform. Set in the 1990s in Sirsi, the plot follows the discovery of a mysterious clue to a lost Kadamba-era treasure, turning what begins as a hopeful journey into a suspense-filled tale where greed, faith, and destiny intertwine.
Produced by Ashwini Puneeth Rajkumar and directed by Devraj Poojary, the series features debut performances in web storytelling by Rangayana Raghu, Gopal Krishna Deshpande, and Praveen Tej. It also stars television actors Ninaad Hrithsa, Prashanth Siddi, and AS Suraj from Drama Juniors.
