ZEE5 Global drops the trailer of its Tamil original Veduvan, starring Kanna Ravi, ahead of its October 10 premiere, promising an intense tale of love, betrayal, and redemption.
GLOBAL: ZEE5 Global, the leading streaming platform for South Asian content available in over 190 countries, has released the gripping trailer of its latest Tamil original series, Veduvan, premiering on 10th October 2025.
Starring Kanna Ravi in the lead role, alongside Sanjeev Venkat, Sravnitha Srikanth, Ramya Ramakrishna, and Rekha Nair, the series is written and directed by Pavan, produced by Sreenidhi Sagar (RiseEast), with music composed by Vibin Bhaskar.
The series follows Sooraj (Kanna Ravi), a struggling actor who lands the role of Encounter Specialist Arun in a biopic. What begins as a chance to revive his career soon unravels into a dangerous journey as reel and real lives start to collide. Sooraj finds himself caught between Arun’s high-stakes battles and moral choices, leading to a layered narrative of duty, love, betrayal, and redemption.
Kanna Ravi described the role as transformative: “Veduvan is more than just another project—it’s about stepping into the blurred line between reel and real. Playing Sooraj meant living through Arun’s choices and sacrifices, and it challenged me in ways that will stay with me.”
