Renowned satirist Bassem Youssef returns to Dubai on 16 November for a special English-language show at Coca-Cola Arena, blending political satire and personal storytelling.

DUBAI: Celebrated Egyptian American comedian and satirist Bassem Youssef is set to bring his thought-provoking humour back to the UAE with a one-night-only performance of Bassem Youssef Live at Coca-Cola Arena on 16 November 2025. Known globally for his fearless satire and compelling storytelling, Youssef’s Dubai show promises an evening of laughter and reflection.

Once a heart surgeon in Cairo, Youssef rose to fame during the Arab Spring, hosting the Arab World’s most-watched satire show and earning the nickname “The Egyptian Jon Stewart.” His sharp wit earned him international acclaim, but also led to arrest and eventual exile to the U.S., where he continued to gain recognition as a global comedic voice.

This November, Youssef returns to Dubai with stories that explore cultural identity, resilience, and the absurdities of politics and everyday life. Performed in English, Bassem Youssef Live is presented by Blu Blood with support from Dubai Calendar.

“Dubai has always been close to my heart – a city that celebrates diversity and connection,” said Youssef. “I can’t wait to share my journey and make people laugh in a city that truly understands global perspectives.”

Tickets are now available at www.blublood.com. The show marks another milestone for Blu Blood, with Osman Osman and Shaaista Khan Osman praising Youssef’s unique ability to reflect society back through humour and courage.
