DUBAI: The Dubai Fitness Challenge (DFC) 2024 returns on October 26, bringing with it a citywide focus on fitness, fun, and community. Launched in 2017 by H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the challenge encourages participants to commit to 30 minutes of daily physical activity for 30 days. This year’s edition will run until November 24, transforming Dubai into an active arena with an array of free events.
This year, residents can enjoy expanded fitness villages, including at Kite Beach, Zabeel Park, and Al Warqa’a Park, each offering activities for all ages. Major highlights include the Dubai Run, where participants can race down Sheikh Zayed Road, and the Dubai Ride, a cycling event that offers unique views of the city.
