DUBAI: Dubai Press Club (DPC) is hosting the fourth Dubai PodFest on 30 September 2024. The event, supported by His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, will be held at the Dubai World Trade Centre in Za’abeel Hall 5, on International Podcast Day.
Dubai PodFest 2024 will bring together popular podcasters, audio content creators, industry leaders, and media professionals from the UAE and the Arab world. They will discuss the future of podcasting in the region and ways to support and grow this industry.
Mahfoudha Abdullah, Manager of Dubai PodFest, said they are excited to host the event for the fourth year in a row. She emphasized that Dubai PodFest is now a key event for the podcasting community in the region. It highlights Dubai’s role as a leading hub for digital trends and media development.
She mentioned that DPC’s strategy focuses on developing new media industries, especially digital audio and visual content. Dubai PodFest is part of several initiatives to support this focus. DPC is committed to providing the necessary support and infrastructure to grow the podcast industry in the Arab world and make it competitive globally.
