DUBAI: The “School of Life” initiative by Dubai Culture and Arts Authority returns this September at Dubai Public Library branches, aligning with the ‘Back to School’ season.
Under the theme ‘The Journey Begins Again,’ this initiative offers over 20 diverse educational workshops and interactive activities, creating a dynamic environment for participants to enhance their skills and gain new experiences.
The workshops span various clubs, such as the Family Development Club, Wellness and Nutrition Club, Career Club, Comics Club, Cinema Club, Art Club, Chess Club, and Book Club, each focusing on developing life and creative skills.
Participants can explore a range of topics, from effective communication, time management, and etiquette to self-confidence building and work-life balance. The initiative also delves into creative pursuits like fine arts, cinema, and Japanese manga, providing a comprehensive learning experience. Workshops like ‘Youth Etiquette: Mind Your Manners’ and ‘Sustainability and Climate Action’ cater to school students, while adults can engage in sessions like ‘Storytelling Through Video’ and ‘Introduction to Video Editing.’
