SHARJAH: The Sharjah Entrepreneurship Festival (SEF) 2025 has unveiled three new zones designed to elevate its status as a global centre for innovation and entrepreneurship. These zones aim to empower local talent, foster networking opportunities, and promote skill development.

The Made in Sharjah Zone, powered by Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq), Bank of Sharjah, and Sharjah Business Women’s Council (SWBC), will showcase local entrepreneurs and their success stories. It includes over 50 startups, workshops, interactive installations, and retail pods to highlight Sharjah’s thriving entrepreneurial ecosystem. Entrepreneurs such as Chef Meera, founder of Heeb, and gaming mogul Hamad Al Shamsi will share their experiences.

In addition, SEF 2025 introduces the SEF Academy, offering free workshops and masterclasses aimed at developing the skills of both emerging and experienced entrepreneurs. The SEF Vault, powered by Emirates General Petroleum Corporation (Emarat), will provide an exclusive lounge and a leadership suite for VIPs and speakers to network and exchange ideas.

Sheikha Hind bint Majid Al Qasimi, Chairperson of SWBC, praised the Made in Sharjah Zone for celebrating the achievements of Sharjah’s entrepreneurs, especially women, and for creating a platform for creativity and collaboration.

Sara Abdelaziz Al Nuaimi, CEO of Sheraa, highlighted the new zones’ role in enhancing Sharjah’s entrepreneurial landscape by fostering meaningful interactions and promoting growth. Ali Khalifa Al Shamsi, CEO of Emarat, emphasised their commitment to supporting talent and encouraging visionary collaborations.

SEF 2025 will take place on February 1-2, 2025, at the Sharjah Research Technology and Innovation Park under the theme ‘Where We Belong,’ focusing on the personal well-being and professional excellence of entrepreneurs.
