Following its launch at Delhi airport, the program will expand to Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Kochi, and Ahmedabad airports for travelers and Indian OCI.
NEW DELHI: India has introduced a new program called “Fast Track Immigration – Trusted Traveller Programme” (FTI-TTP) at Delhi airport’s Terminal 3, allowing Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) and foreign nationals to enter seamlessly through e-gates in Indian airports. This initiative scans passports and boarding passes while digitally authenticating passengers’ biometrics.
Following its launch at Delhi airport, the program will expand to Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Kochi, and Ahmedabad airports. Eventually, it will cover 21 international airports across India, aiming to eliminate long queues at immigration checkpoints.

The Ministry of Home Affairs stated that the Bureau of Immigration will manage the FTI-TTP through an online portal. Travelers interested in joining the scheme must register online, providing necessary details and documents. After verification, eligible travelers will be listed in a White List of Trusted Travellers and allowed to use e-Gates for quick immigration processing.
Registration remains valid until passport expiry or up to five years, with an option for renewal. This initiative promises to streamline entry procedures, offering convenience to frequent international travelers and enhancing the efficiency of immigration services nationwide.
