DUBAI: Dubai Municipality has launched the Mushrif Hub inside Mushrif National Park, a vibrant new destination combining sports, leisure, and nature to boost community engagement. The project is part of wider upgrades to public parks under Dubai’s strategy to promote healthy, active lifestyles.
At the heart of the Mushrif Hub is a 50km mountain bike trail, the longest of its kind within the city, split into three levels: a beginner-friendly green path, a moderate blue trail, and a challenging red route for experienced riders. A 9.7km mountain walking trail with multi-level paths also invites nature lovers to explore the park’s scenic terrain.
In addition to biking and walking routes, the Hub features a dedicated skills area, a range of cafés and restaurants, and key amenities including changing rooms, showers, and a chapel. Evening visits are now more accessible thanks to newly installed lighting systems, extending operating hours well into the night.
The space will host regular cycling and running events, encouraging residents to get active and build connections through sport. The initiative offers private and government sectors the chance to organise events that draw the community together in a shared, natural space.
“The Mushrif Hub reflects our commitment to enriching the quality of life in Dubai,” said Bader Anwahi, CEO of the Public Facilities Agency at Dubai Municipality. “It’s a unique recreational space that strengthens our bond with nature while promoting wellness and inclusivity.”
The launch reinforces Dubai’s efforts to become one of the world’s top cities to live and visit by delivering sustainable, accessible public spaces that cater to all.
