Under Operation Birds of Goodness, the UAE delivered 540 tonnes of food aid to Gaza, reinforcing its humanitarian support.

GAZA: The United Arab Emirates has carried out its 68th airdrop of aid to Gaza under Operation Birds of Goodness, a key component of Operation Chivalrous Knight 3. The mission, conducted on 10th August 2025, was coordinated with the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and supported by Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Belgium, and France.

The latest shipment included large quantities of essential food items, prepared in collaboration with several UAE-based charitable organisations to help address urgent needs amid ongoing humanitarian challenges in the Gaza Strip.

In addition to the air mission, 20 trucks carrying 540 tonnes of food supplies successfully entered Gaza through designated land crossings. This dual approach is part of the UAE’s ongoing strategy to ensure a steady flow of vital resources to the region, both by land and by air.

Since the launch of Operation Birds of Goodness, the UAE has delivered more than 3,908 tonnes of relief items — including food, medical aid, and other essentials — highlighting its unwavering commitment to supporting the Palestinian people. These initiatives also reflect the UAE’s leading role in global humanitarian work, bringing together regional and international partners to provide coordinated relief and strengthen community resilience during crises.
