Dubai Summer Surprises 2025 unveils back to school deals till 31 August, offering up to 75% off plus exciting prize draws.
DUBAI: The final retail season of Dubai Summer Surprises (DSS) 2025 has officially begun, bringing a citywide wave of back to school offers till 31 August. Families and students can enjoy savings of up to 75 per cent on school essentials, uniforms, tech, footwear, and more — alongside a host of giveaways and mega prize draws.
Among the highlights is the Modesh Scholarship, giving shoppers the chance to win a share of AED 200,000 towards school fees by spending AED 200 or more at participating malls, including Dubai Festival Plaza, Al Ghurair Centre, Times Square Center, and others. Draws will take place on 16 August and 1 September.
At Dubai Festival City Mall, the Back to School – Spend & Win AED 25,000 promotion runs until 31 August. Customers who spend AED 500 or more at participating stores — including top brands like H&M, Zara, Marks & Spencer, and Carrefour — will enter the draw to win AED 25,000 towards their child’s education.
LuLu Hypermarkets and Express stores are also running the LuLu School Savers campaign until 7 September, offering instant prizes and a AED 10,000 scholarship for customers spending AED 100 on school supplies.
Tech-savvy shoppers can benefit from deals at E City stores, including buy-one-get-one-free offers, premium gifts with purchases, and student discounts of up to 15 per cent on select devices. Emax’s Biggest Back to School promotion features up to 30 per cent off laptops, tablets, and monitors, plus extra gifts worth up to AED 500 on select items.
Organised by Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), DSS 2025’s back to school season is supported by key sponsors and partners including Commercial Bank of Dubai, Emirates Airline, Majid Al Futtaim, and talabat. The festival wraps up on 31 August after delivering one of its most value-packed editions to date.
