Big Ticket winners from Bangladesh celebrate AED 20 million jackpot and Range Rover Velar win in Abu Dhabi draw.
Abu Dhabi: Two Bangladeshi expats based in the UAE are the latest Big Ticket winners, walking away with life-changing prizes in the Series 277 draw.
Dubai resident Sabuj Miah Amir Hossain Dewan, a 36-year-old tailor, struck gold on his very first attempt—securing the AED 20 million grand prize. Living in the UAE for 18 years, Dewan bought his ticket in-store in Abu Dhabi after hearing about the Big Ticket buzz from friends. “This was my first time purchasing a ticket, and I bought it on my own,” he shared. Overwhelmed with gratitude, he added, “I’m a humble tailor earning a modest salary… this win can completely transform my family’s future.”
When asked how he felt upon hearing the news of his win, he stated, “I’m a humble tailor earning a modest salary, so you can imagine the emotions running through me right now. Meanwhile, 42-year-old Sharjah-based businessman Parvez Hosen Anower Hossain took home a brand-new Range Rover Velar. A loyal participant for four years, Hossain regularly drove from Sharjah to Abu Dhabi to purchase tickets. His perseverance finally paid off. “Every month, for the past four years, I’ve bought tickets with my friend. That commitment has truly been rewarded,” he said.
Big Ticket winners like Dewan and Hossain are inspiring hopefuls across the UAE as the next grand draw approaches. For September, one lucky winner stands to gain AED 15 million, while six others will receive AED 100,000 each.
Adding to the excitement, the Big Win Contest offers guaranteed prizes between AED 50K and AED 150K for eligible participants. Those who buy two or more tickets in one transaction by 25th August may get selected to attend the 3rd September live draw.
The August Dream Car, a BMW M440i, will also be awarded, with another Range Rover Velar lined up for October. Tickets are available online or at Zayed International Airport and Al Ain Airport.
