UAE President meets Saudi Crown Prince in Riyadh to strengthen bilateral ties and discuss regional developments.

RIYADH: President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan arrived in Riyadh today for a fraternal visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He was warmly received at King Khalid International Airport by His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia.

The leaders held high-level discussions focused on strengthening the enduring fraternal ties and strategic cooperation between the UAE and Saudi Arabia. Their talks covered various regional and international developments, especially the evolving situation in the occupied Palestinian territories.

Both leaders reiterated their commitment to reinforcing regional stability and peace. They agreed on the urgency of pursuing a just and lasting resolution to the Palestinian issue based on a two-state solution. The discussions also emphasised collaboration in addressing humanitarian challenges and boosting regional security.

The Crown Prince hosted a luncheon in honour of the UAE President and his accompanying delegation, which included top Emirati officials such as H.H. Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed Al Nahyan and H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, among others.

Senior Saudi officials, including ministers of defence, foreign affairs, energy, and national guard, were also present during the meeting. Upon his departure, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed was bid farewell by the Saudi Crown Prince, reflecting the strong bonds between the two nations.
