Dubai: GETEX 2025 Dubai was officially inaugurated today by His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, at the Dubai World Trade Centre. As the UAE’s largest education and training exhibition this year, the event brings together academic institutions from over 30 countries, offering thousands of students and parents access to global education opportunities.
Now in its 41st edition, GETEX 2025 Dubai continues to be a vital platform for higher education, career guidance, and professional development. His Excellency praised the exhibition’s role in shaping student futures, stating it reflects the UAE’s commitment to human capital, lifelong learning, and educational innovation aligned with global shifts.
“We are pleased to witness the wide variety of academic and career options… reflecting the UAE’s growing status as a global education hub,” he said. He also reiterated the nation’s focus on building a knowledge-based society, guided by the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE.
This year’s edition emphasises alternative study destinations in light of tightened visa policies in countries like the UK, US, Australia, and Canada.
