Artificial intelligence is reshaping Sharjah’s real estate with smart tools for analytics, pricing, customer service, and investor attraction.
SHARJAH: Artificial intelligence (AI) is rapidly becoming the cornerstone of Sharjah’s real estate transformation, enhancing transparency, improving service delivery, and boosting investor confidence. Industry experts say AI is streamlining everything from market analysis to customer service, giving the emirate a competitive edge as a smart investment destination.
Abdul Aziz Ahmed Al Shamsi, Director-General of the Sharjah Real Estate Registration Department, told Emirates News Agency (WAM) that AI is now an essential technology for shaping the future of property in Sharjah. “Artificial intelligence provides advanced tools for data analysis, informed decision-making, innovative real estate services, and foresight into market trends,” he said.
He credited the leadership of His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Ruler of Sharjah, for driving the emirate’s digital transformation journey. The aim is to build a sustainable, knowledge-based economy that leverages smart technologies for public service excellence and business growth.
AI tools now help real estate professionals and investors save time, analyse market data more effectively, and compare property options with increased accuracy. Al Shamsi confirmed that the department is studying international best practices to integrate AI across all services, improving operational efficiency and customer experience.
One of the most significant milestones in this transformation is the launch of “District 11” by Al Marwan Development—the UAE’s first AI-designed and AI-managed residential development. Spanning 3.5 million square feet, the project will include 11 buildings and over 3,000 parking spaces, with AI having designed the entire infrastructure and layout from 700 design options.
Majd AlZaiem, Executive Director of Al Marwan Development, called District 11 a pioneering model for the future of property development. “AI selected the final 11 designs and handled the studies for entrances, exits, and parking,” he said.
Jamal Al Shawish, Head of Sales and Marketing at IFA Hotels and Resorts, also shared how the company uses AI to create dynamic unit layouts based on view and size, analyse customer feedback, and automate maintenance and sales workflows. AI also supports predictive maintenance, reducing breakdowns and boosting cost efficiency.
From AI-powered customer insights to smart city-scale design, Sharjah’s real estate ecosystem is embracing innovation. As these technologies scale, the emirate is poised to strengthen its status as a regional leader in digital real estate development.
