DUBAI: Amazon has rolled out its fastest delivery service yet in the UAE — Amazon Now — offering 15-minute delivery on everyday essentials and 2-hour shipping for thousands of items. This bold expansion reinforces the company’s commitment to speed, innovation, and convenience for UAE shoppers.

Backed by a growing network of micro fulfillment centres embedded within UAE neighbourhoods, Amazon Now UAE launch enables lightning-fast delivery of everything from fresh produce and groceries to personal care, electronics, and baby products. With deliveries reaching some customers in as little as six minutes, Amazon Now is live across key areas including Dubai Marina, JBR, Barsha, Business Bay, Al Ain, Abu Dhabi Central, and more.

The service is available to all Amazon.ae users, with Prime members enjoying free delivery on Amazon Now orders over AED 25, and a nominal AED 6 fee for smaller baskets. Ronaldo Mouchawar, Vice President of Amazon Middle East, Africa and Turkey, said: “Amazon Now is designed for the pace of life in the UAE — from a phone charger to last-minute diapers, we’ve got them covered.”

Amazon has also launched a 2-hour delivery service across more than 30 product categories. Customers can now enjoy same-day delivery with eligible products marked “Get it Today” on the site. Prime users receive free delivery on orders over AED 100, or can opt to pay just AED 3 per order for smaller carts.

Powered by advanced technology and local infrastructure, Amazon Now uses compact, tech-enabled fulfilment centres that analyse hyperlocal demand to optimise inventory and reduce delivery distance — lowering congestion while improving customer satisfaction.

The Amazon Now UAE launch is part of the company’s broader effort to localise services, support sustainability, and elevate delivery standards in the region. With over 40% monthly growth in orders and Prime members doubling their usage, the service has already exceeded expectations.
