Five expats from the UK, India, and Bangladesh win 250g gold bars in Big Ticket’s third weekly October draw, ahead of the AED 25 million grand prize.
ABU DHABI: The festive spirit across the UAE is glowing even brighter this October as Big Ticket’s third weekly draw awarded 250-gram 24-karat gold bars to five lucky winners from the United Kingdom, India, and Bangladesh. The announcement, part of Big Ticket’s October gold promotion, brought joy and surprise to regular participants and newcomers alike.
Among the winners was Nicholas Luden from the UK, who bought his winning ticket (280-156157) in-store. Equally thrilled was Nagarajan Venkataraman from India, whose online ticket (280-241818) secured his golden reward.
For MD Haider Ali MD Ibrahim, a 31-year-old salesman from Bangladesh living in Al Ain, the win was two years in the making. After consistently buying tickets alongside a close-knit group of friends, his persistence paid off. “It was a big surprise,” he said, describing Big Ticket as “a very nice company with an easy process.”
Also celebrating was Manjusha Puthiyaveetil, another online ticket holder from India, and Libin Baby Baby, a 35-year-old instructor from Kerala. Having worked across Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and Oman, Libin now lives in the UAE and regularly purchases Big Ticket entries with a group of 11 friends. “I was on-site when I got the call — I was completely surprised,” he shared, adding that the prize will be shared among his group.
With just one weekly draw remaining and five more gold bars to be won, excitement continues to build as the AED 25 million grand prize draw approaches on November 3. Those who purchase two tickets by October 31 will also qualify for The Big Win Contest, where four selected individuals will get a chance to win up to AED 150,000 live.
Additionally, the Dream Car Series continues, offering a Nissan Patrol on November 3 and a Maserati Grecale on December 3.
