Big Ticket’s second weekly e-draw for October awarded 250g gold bars to five lucky winners from the UAE, India, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka.
ABU DHABI: The Big Ticket October promotion continues to turn dreams into reality, with five winners from across the UAE and South Asia each taking home a 250-gram 24-karat gold bar in the second weekly e-draw. Winners hailed from the UAE, India, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka, highlighting the brand’s wide appeal and growing community of hopefuls.
Among the standout stories is A.A., a 39-year-old UAE national and government employee, who learned of his win after missing the initial call. Planning to use his prize for a family trip to the Maldives, he called it “a moment of gratitude and joy.”
Another winner, Mohamed Nalim, a 63-year-old Sri Lankan banker living in Saudi Arabia, expressed disbelief when he got the winning call. He plans to gift the gold to his wife for their daughter’s jewellery. “Big Ticket helps people realise dreams,” he said.
First-time ticket buyer Mansur Ahmmad from Bangladesh won through a shared group effort with 10 friends. “It was our first time — and we won!” he exclaimed, excited to split the gold prize with his team.
Ajith Samuel, a 44-year-old mechanical engineer from Kerala, has been living in the UAE for 19 years. His win, after years of monthly participation with friends, was “unexpected and thrilling.”
Finally, Vibin Vasudevan, a 37-year-old IT professional in Dubai, shared the win with his gym group. “This experience brought us even closer,” he said. The 20-member group plans to cash in the gold and divide it equally.
With two weekly draws still to come, there are 10 more gold bars up for grabs before the grand prize draw on 3 November, where one lucky winner will walk away with AED 25 million.
Those who purchase two tickets between 1–24 October also qualify for The Big Win Contest, where four participants will get a chance to attend the live draw and win cash prizes worth up to AED 150,000.
Big Ticket fans can also participate in the Dream Car Series, with chances to win a Nissan Patrol on 3 November and a Maserati Grecale on 3 December.
