His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, recently undertook a tour of the Dubai Airshow 2023. During his visit, he explored the exhibits of various local and international companies participating in the event, showcasing advancements in the defense, civil aviation, and aerospace sectors.

Among the companies visited by His Highness were Edge, Mubadala, and the UAE-based Calidus, along with the stands of Saudi Arabian Military Industries, Thales, and Dassault. He received briefings on the latest technologies propelling sector growth and promoting sustainability.

Engaging in discussions with exhibitors, His Highness delved into flagship initiatives, ongoing projects, and the companies’ cutting-edge developments, gaining insights into their future plans. He extended his best wishes for success, encouraging them to leverage the exhibition to tap into opportunities on both the international and local fronts.

Highlighting the Dubai Airshow’s global significance, His Highness emphasized its role in bringing together aviation companies and stakeholders, fostering an environment conducive to innovation for accelerating new technologies and sustainable practices within the industry.

Moreover, he underscored the airshow’s contribution to strengthening the UAE’s prominent position in the aviation sector, supported by robust infrastructure, innovative technology, and a pool of skilled local talent.

Accompanying His Highness was His Excellency Faisal Abdulaziz Al Bannai, the Secretary-General of the Advanced Technology Research Council.

The Dubai Airshow boasts participation from over 1,400 exhibitors representing 148 countries, showcasing more than 180 aircraft.
