Dubai will host an extraordinary Festival of Lights from 17–26 October with fireworks, concerts, Diwali markets, and mega retail prizes.
DUBAI: Dubai is set to sparkle like never before with the return of the highly anticipated Festival of Lights 2025, a citywide celebration of Diwali running from 17 to 26 October. Organised by Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), the event is supported by the Consulate General of India and features a packed schedule of concerts, cultural showcases, fireworks, exclusive retail promotions, Diwali-themed markets, and food festivals.
The skies will light up with fireworks displays at Souk Al Seef on 17 October, and at Global Village across multiple nights. Back by popular demand, Noor – Festival of Lights will transform Souk Al Seef into a dazzling cultural hub with traditional music, comedy shows, and workshops from 17 to 19 October.
Live entertainment highlights include musical legends Ilaiyaraaja and Andrea Jeremiah performing on 18 October, while Russell Peters headlines with a comedy night on 25 October. Storytelling shows like Lights & Legends at Festival Plaza on 25 and 26 October will enchant families with folk tales, music, and dance.
Diwali markets across Global Village, WAFI City, and Waterfront Market will showcase authentic Indian crafts, festive foods, and traditional entertainment. The India Pavilion at Global Village will host a grand Diwali Mela with vibrant Rangoli art, stage shows, and culinary treats.
