DUBAI: The Dubai Centre for Artificial Intelligence (DCAI) has launched registrations for the groundbreaking “One Million Prompters” initiative, aiming to train one million individuals in AI prompt engineering.
Launched in May 2024 under the directives of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the initiative aligns with Dubai’s ambition to lead AI adoption globally. Over three years, it will enhance participants’ professional and creative skills using generative AI, reinforcing Dubai’s position as a hub for technological innovation.
The programme supports the “Dubai Universal Blueprint for AI,” a strategic framework designed to cultivate AI talent and foster widespread technology adoption across key sectors. Saeed Al Falasi, Director of DCAI, stated, “This initiative opens doors for diverse talents to master AI prompt engineering, unlocking innovative applications from Dubai to the world.”
The curriculum features four specialised modules. The first, “Unleashing the Power of AI”, covers AI basics and prompt literacy. The second, “Commanding Conversations with AI Chatbots”, focuses on advanced techniques for seamless human-AI interactions. The third module, “AI-Powered Productivity Revolution”, offers tools to optimise workflows, while the final, “Creative Frontiers with Generative AI”, explores AI in creative domains like art and music.
Participants will earn accredited certificates upon completion, marking their expertise in AI prompt engineering. The initiative also builds on Dubai’s success in hosting the 2024 Global Prompt Engineering Championship, which saw winners from India, Austria, and other nations competing across diverse categories.
The second edition of the championship will occur during Dubai AI Week in April 2025, further cementing Dubai’s reputation as a global AI leader.
