DUBAI: Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has partnered with TruKKer to launch Logisty, a groundbreaking digital logistics platform designed to revolutionise commercial transport services in Dubai.
The digital logistics platform offers on-demand booking, real-time tracking, and seamless freight management, connecting businesses and customers with reliable transport services. This initiative plays a key role in supporting Dubai’s ambition to be a global leader in logistics, in line with the Dubai Economic Agenda (D33).
According to Mattar Al Tayer, Director-General of RTA, Logisty aligns with the Dubai Commercial Road Transport & Logistics Strategy 2030. The strategy aims to boost the logistics sector’s contribution to AED16.8 billion, increase the adoption of technology in the sector by 75%, and improve operational efficiency by 10%.
A highlight of the digital logistics platform is its AI-powered CBM Calculator, which allows users to estimate shipment volumes simply by uploading photos or videos. This tool, along with other innovative tracking features, ensures a more efficient, secure, and transparent logistics experience.
Al Tayer emphasized, “The launch of Logisty reflects RTA’s commitment to providing innovative, technology-driven solutions, furthering Dubai’s status as a logistics hub.”
Dubai’s commercial transport sector, with over 351,000 registered vehicles, has grown rapidly, contributing AED31.4 billion to the GDP in 2023, and saw a growth rate of 7.8% in Q2.
Scheduled to officially launch in December 2024, the digital logistics platform Logisty will introduce state-of-the-art logistics services, enhancing Dubai’s reputation as the leading logistics hub in the region.
