Dubai Fountain reopens on October 1 after renovations, resuming stunning shows and promising new features in 2026.
DUBAI: After a five-month renovation break, the iconic Dubai Fountain is set to make a spectacular return on October 1, reestablishing itself as the heart of Downtown Dubai. As one of the world’s most visited landmarks, the Dubai Fountain reopening marks a significant cultural moment for both residents and global visitors.
Emaar has confirmed that Phase One of the maintenance work—including water insulation, tiling, and painting—has been completed ahead of schedule. This critical work ensures the fountain remains both visually stunning and structurally sound, maintaining the highest standards of safety and aesthetics.
The reopening has sparked major interest online, with fans around the globe sharing excitement and even planning their trips to coincide with the return of the shows. Phase Two of the renovation is slated for completion in Q2 2026. It will introduce cutting-edge features designed to enhance the visual storytelling and interactivity of performances, promising a new era for Dubai’s most iconic water show.
From October 1, regular showtimes resume:
- Afternoon shows daily at 1:00 pm and 1:30 pm, and 2:00 pm and 2:30 pm on Fridays
- Evening shows from 6:00 pm to 11:00 pm every 30 minutes
