Dubai Summer Surprises 2025 concluded its biggest season yet with over AED 20 million in prizes, a 110% surge in spending, and thousands of citywide offers, concerts, and family experiences across 66 days.

DUBAI: Dubai Summer Surprises (DSS) 2025 has wrapped up its most exciting edition to date, transforming the city into a vibrant hub of retail, entertainment, and family-friendly activities. Over 66 action-packed days from 27 June to 31 August, the citywide festival delivered record value, experiences, and engagement to residents and visitors alike.

Organised by Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), DSS 2025 rolled out more than 4,000 retail promotions, over 180 mega raffles, and 7,500 exclusive Entertainer offers. Anchored for the first time around three distinct shopping phases—Summer Holiday Offers, Great Dubai Summer Sale, and Back to School—the season recorded a 110% increase in average consumer spending.

Over AED 20 million worth of prizes were distributed to more than 1,200 winners, including brand-new cars, cash, jewellery, scholarships, and tech gadgets. More than 3,800 retail outlets across 100+ destinations hosted promotions, while 76 concerts featuring stars like Shreya Ghoshal, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Macy Gray, and Natalie Imbruglia, alongside Beat the Heat DXB and Gahwa Beats, brought global and regional entertainment to life.

Ahmed Al Khaja, CEO of DFRE, said DSS is a key part of Dubai’s tourism strategy and supports the D33 Agenda to boost the city’s global standing. He highlighted DSS 2025’s success in uniting the city with diverse retail, dining, and entertainment offers, noting its role in driving economic growth and showcasing Dubai as a top family-friendly destination.

Families enjoyed Modesh World and brand-new Modesh and Dana events, from splash parks and pizza workshops to curated lists of top kid-friendly spots. Summer Restaurant Week and the debut of the 10 Dirham Dish brought flavour to the season, as over 746 eateries delivered unique culinary offers. Meanwhile, hotel staycations, indoor mall runs, and edutainment events rounded off the summer.

DSS 2025’s success reflects Dubai’s strategic vision in integrating tourism, retail, and entertainment as drivers of year-round engagement, bolstering the city’s global appeal.
