DUBAI: His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, met with a group of retired senior Dubai Police officers on Wednesday, paying tribute to their critical role in shaping the emirate’s security landscape.

The meeting took place at Al Mudaif Majlis in Union House, where His Highness praised the officers for laying the foundations of a policing model now considered a regional and global benchmark. He commended their honourable service and unwavering commitment to ensuring Dubai’s safety and stability over the years.
“Recognising your efforts is a national duty and a legacy history will not forget,” His Highness said, highlighting the value of their contributions in driving the emirate’s ongoing progress and reputation for security excellence.
The gathering was attended by Major General Khalil Al Mansouri, Major General Abdul Quddus Abdul Razzaq Al Obaidli, Major General Abdullah Al Ghaithi, Major General Ali Atiq, Major General Ali Ghanem, and Major General Jamal Al Jallaf.
In response, the retired officers expressed their deep gratitude to His Highness, acknowledging that serving the nation had been a profound honour. They noted that Dubai’s advancements in safety and policing were made possible through the visionary leadership and continuous support of the UAE’s Rulers.
