Dr. Abdulrahman Al Awar inaugurates Najah Dubai 2025 with 100 global universities, promoting UAE’s vision for a knowledge-based economy.
DUBAI: His Excellency Dr. Abdulrahman Al Awar, Minister of Human Resources and Emiratisation and Acting Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, inaugurated Najah Dubai 2025, the UAE’s leading higher education exhibition, at the Dubai World Trade Centre on Sunday.
Held with the strategic support of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the event brings together over 100 universities from more than 20 countries, including world-renowned institutions from North America, Europe, Asia, and the MENA region. The exhibition runs until 7th October and serves as a key platform for students exploring higher education and future career pathways.
Dr. Al Awar emphasised that the Ministry’s participation aligns with the UAE’s ongoing mission to equip Emirati youth with future-ready skills, empowering them to drive innovation and contribute to the knowledge economy. The exhibition reflects the country’s focus on building a flexible, industry-linked education ecosystem that prioritises digital literacy, entrepreneurship, and sustainability.
The opening day witnessed a strong turnout of students, parents, and academic advisors eager to learn about new programmes, scholarship options, and career-focused education tools. The 2025 edition of Najah also introduces a greater focus on emerging disciplines, such as artificial intelligence, data analytics, health sciences, and advanced technology.
Event Director Dima Al Sadi highlighted Najah’s growing impact on the regional academic landscape. “At Najah, our approach is deeply student-focused. The enthusiasm this year shows how students and families are engaging with the future of education,” she said.
Al Sadi added, “What makes Najah stand out is its meaningful engagement — combining mentorship, career planning, and direct access to global institutions. Najah is becoming more than an education fair; it’s a launchpad for future-ready students.”
Throughout the event, attendees participated in workshops, live consultations, and seminars connecting academic pathways with real-world career opportunities.
Following Dubai, Najah Abu Dhabi will run from 19th to 21st October 2025 at ADNEC, while Najah Doha will take place from 15th to 17th November 2025, extending the initiative’s regional reach.
