Sharjah: The Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI), through the Sharjah Exports Development Centre (SEDC), is set to embark on a trade mission to India on May 5th. This initiative underscores the SCCI’s dedication to fostering investment opportunities for both regions.

The mission aims to strengthen ties between Sharjah and India’s business communities, facilitating communication and cooperation to bolster industrial and commercial exports from Sharjah. Led by Abdullah Sultan Al Owais, Chairman of the SCCI, the delegation includes prominent officials such as Waleed Abdul Rahman Bukhatir and Ziyad Mohmoud Khairalla from the SCCI’s Board of Directors.

From May 5th to 10th, the delegation will engage in a series of meetings and site visits in Chennai and Mumbai, connecting with entrepreneurs and businessmen. Additionally, business forums and symposiums will be organized to unite investors, officials, and industry leaders from both regions.

This trade mission underscores the SCCI’s commitment to enhancing economic and commercial relations between Sharjah and India. It aims to highlight the myriad opportunities available in Sharjah, including government initiatives and support for foreign investors. The mission also seeks to strengthen the existing economic partnership between Sharjah and India, fostering sustainable collaboration and growth.

The SCCI’s efforts extend to the Indian Business and Professional Council, reflecting the presence of approximately 18,500 Indian companies in Sharjah. This showcases Sharjah’s attractiveness to Indian investors and underscores ongoing efforts to cultivate new investment opportunities.
