ABU DHABI: The UAE has condemned the assassination attempt that targeted former US President Donald Trump, which resulted in his injury, one person’s death, and others getting hurt. They expressed deep sympathy for this tragic event.

The incident occurred during a public appearance by former President Donald Trump. As Trump was delivering a speech at a rally, an unidentified assailant opened fire. A sudden burst of gunfire caused panic, and a bleeding Trump, who said he was shot in the ear, was quickly surrounded by Secret Service agents and rushed to his SUV while he defiantly pumped his fist.

Trump’s campaign said the likely GOP nominee was doing “fine” after the shooting, which he said hit the upper part of his right ear.

“I knew right away that something was wrong when I heard a whizzing sound and shots, then felt the bullet tear through my skin. There was a lot of bleeding,” he wrote on his social media site.

Despite their efforts, Trump sustained injuries, while one attendee was fatally wounded and several others were injured. In the aftermath of the shooting, the event location was secured and medical teams promptly attended to the injured. Trump’s injuries were reported to be non-life-threatening, and he was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
